The decision on Black Mountain Energy’s Kimberley fracking proposal will be made by the end of the year.
We are at a turning point - in the next few months we may see the Cook government either decide to ban Kimberley fracking, or cave to the Texan frackers.
Together we’ll raise our voices alongside Traditional Owners and community members from the Kimberley who will speak passionately about the urgent need to ban fracking.
📅 WHEN: Tomorrow - Tuesday 9 September, 12 pm
📍 WHERE: Parliament House, 4 Harvest Terrace, West Perth (the city side with the steps)
✊ WHY: To protect the precious Kimberley from full scale gas fracking
🚌 TRANSPORT: The free Red, Blue and Purple CAT buses have stops near Parliament House. The nearest train station is City West. There is street parking in the area (paid).
