Unless politicians in WA hear and feel a mass community opposition to fracking in the Kimberley, we might not be able to protect it.
To make them act, we need them to hear our voices - and one of the most impactful ways is to meet directly with your Member of Parliament (MP)!
We’re hosting a ‘Meet with your MP’ masterclass in Leederville on July 13, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Vincent Community Centre, 99 Loftus Street. Please RSVP below.
Sophie McNeill will be running the training - bringing her extensive experience in lobbying MPs, Ministers and Department officials on various human rights issues.
You’ll also hear from the Frack Free Kimberley team with campaign updates, key points to raise with your MP and simple and effective ways to request and attend the meeting to make sure your time is well spent and has an impact!
Don’t miss the expert advice and guidance from Sophie McNeill - a human rights and climate activist who most recently worked as an Australia researcher for Human Rights Watch.
Sophie was formerly an investigative reporter with ABC TV’s Four Corners program, an ABC Middle East Correspondent, and is a three-time Walkley Award winner and author.
Join us to learn how you can meet with your MP and make a huge impact on the fight against fracking in the Kimberley.
The event is free but for planning and catering purposes please reserve your space below today.
This event is open to everyone, whether you’re new to the issue or have supported the campaign for a while.
Event held on Whadjuk Noongar boodjar.
