The campaign to stop fracking in the Kimberley is building. Last week the Kimberley community sent a strong message direct to the McGowan government during the Community Cabinet meeting in Broome. In the same week, we launched the new film ‘Fighting Giants’ at two sold out screenings in Perth.
But inside Parliament, the McGowan government is still backing the frackers: granting Texan company Black Mountain a special export deal, and holding out on giving Traditional Owners their promised right to veto fracking projects.
Will you stand in solidarity with the Kimberley? This creative action in Perth will feature the unique plants and animals of the Kimberley whose lives and homes are at risk from fracking.
